Terms and Conditions

Before reservation:

• Check the traffic laws of the country that you are travelling in.
• Check your driving licence.
• Don’t forget your credit card and your car rental voucher.

At the time of Reservation:

• All reservations must be made at least 2 days before car pick up.
• All renters must hold a valid EU or International Driving License, issued at least one year prior to the rental. For group small the minimum age for renting a car is 21 years old and for the others is 23 years old.
• Not covered by any insurance collision damage caused by alcohol or drug or abuse as well as traffic law violations.
• Rates are calculated on the basis of collection/return to the same rental location.
• Rental days are calculated on a 24-Hour basis from the vehicle pick up.
• International one-way rentals are not available.
• Transportation between the islands or mainland is not allowed
• One-way rentals under request
• Above mentioned not included compulsory and/or additional charges are payable locally, unless otherwise stated on the agents’ voucher.
• Partially used vouchers are not refundable without our prior confirmation.
• Minimum Rental: One day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of daily rate.
• Service will not be given for any unconfirmed reservation.
• If you do not buy the Super Cover insurance that protects you from all damages with 0 excess then you will have an excess from 600-1500 euros depending on the category of the vehicle.
• In the case of not having super cover You must have with you a credit card or cash money to guarantee the amount of 600-1500 euros depending on the category of the car you rent. If you give your credit there will be a preauthorization of the amount or by cash.

Payment:

Our clients need a credit card for security deposit and the card may be in either drivers name. Cash payments are acceptable. You may also pay online today by credit card. We accept all major credit cards.

At checkout process we will ask you to leave the total amount or a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the rental costs. Then, you will choose to redirect at the Alpha Bank, a safe environment where you can use your (Credit or Debit) Prepaid, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners card to process the payment or with the use of electronic wallet Masterpass or pay with PayPal or with bank transfer. When you complete the transaction with success will redirect back to our website and will get finale confirmation for your reservation. In the last-minute reservation e.g. (1 day) if at any case we do not have availability due to ultra-high volume of reservations we will refund or release your money.

Note that: All payments made using a card that are processed through Alpha Bank's Alpha E-Commerce payment platform and use TLS 1.2 encryption with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Encryption is a way to encode the information until it reaches its intended recipient, which will be able to decode the use of the appropriate key.

The final confirmation of your reservation will be at maximum of 3 hours of our working hours.

If you pay 10% to our website then the Rest amount of 90% of rental cost you will pay at the rental point when we will complete the car rental. Our office accepts all the major Credit CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS CHARGED IN EURO.

Taxes are included in the final total price (VAT 24%).

At the time of delivery please check:

• The renter cannot choose a specific car type from the car group. The car will be given at the renter will be one of the cars that are included in the car group of his choice. in case of no availability from this car group another car will be supplied of the same value or more.
• FREE delivery and collection from 8:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. In case of a later delivery the renter will be charged 20 euros for the representative.
• Damages on the car. Has it written down on your contract?
• Where the spare tire and necessary tools for changing wheels are.
• DO NOT forget to take your copy of the contract!
• If you have local currency, for tolls etc. Not all petrol stations accept credit cards.
• You must find out exactly where to return the car when the rental is over.
• Ask the representative for instructions for your first destination.
• Check what kind of fuel the car needs. Diesel or petrol?
• Ask what you have to do in case of accident/damage.
• At most destinations it is necessary to make a police report even for the smallest damage.

RESTRICTIONS:

TRAFFIC FINES: All traffic fines resulting from violation of the Greek traffic law during the rental period are at the renter’s expense. Failure to report or pay for the fines results in details sent to the authorities to send on the fine with penalties.

FUEL: The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. In the case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refunds are issued for vehicles returned with more fuel than when collected. Fuel consumed during the rental period is paid by renter.
AVAIABILITY: Car models are according to original planning. Delivery problems however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.

ACROSS THE BORDER RENTALS OR FERRYING RENTALS: Customers wishing to drive the car out of Corfu must have the advance authorization from the company. Plus, an extra charge is required road service for the mainland. (Rate varies according to vehicle category). Mainland fee covers only the cost of the road service for the duration of the rental.

CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS: Credit card transaction are made in Euro. Please note that we are not able to make any transaction on the renter’s card in any other currency. The currency equivalent shown on the site is according to Greek Bank’s exchange rates.
Fluctuations may occur with card holders bank charges.

CANCELLATION (when paying credit card) up to 48 hours before arrival. When clicking “pay by credit card”, the transaction goes through only when we have confirmed that a car is available for your hire. At any case if you choose any payment method and there is no availability no need of worry we will refund all the amount of money you paid to our company at the same time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If you cancel your reservation 96 hours prior to your pick up, you will be refunded in full.
• If you cancel your reservation less than 96 hours in advance, you will receive a refund minus 80€ for fully prepaid bookings or if your online
• Payment is less than €80 no refund will be made for your car hire booking.
• If your booking is made less than 96 hours before pick up, the cancellation policy will automatically apply to your booking.

Warning!

Always drive carefully and set your seatbelt.

In the unlucky case of an accident the most important advice is:
“Stay calm and try not to panic!”

If anybody is injured, give them first aid and call the ambulance if needed. Then, call your rental company. The number can be found on your rental agreement. Also call the police and make a report of the accident/damage. Obtain as much information as possible about the other vehicle and driver, like name, registration number etc.

In case of mechanical breakdown contact the Road Assistance.

Once the customer has read and accepted the above terms and agreements, he / she then, at the time of receiving the vehicle and signing the lease agreement with the vehicle rental company, must accept and respect the terms and arrangements as set by them. Navamo does not have any liability from the moment the customer receives the vehicle and after accepting the terms and agreements as stated in the rental agreement of the vehicle rental company.
